View enroute from Jaswant Niwas Luxury Homestay to Mehrangarh Fort
It is a pleasure to meditate under the canopy of giant trees that surround my suite. On the drive to Mehrangarh Fort, one passes several colourfully painted heritage houses along the way.The Aravalli Hills have a rocky face and look impressive from a distance. As we near the hills it appears as if several large rocks have been placed one on top of the other and which are held in place by invisible threads. It takes about twenty minutes to trek to reach Mehrangarh Fort. The journey uphill is slow and arduous but offers excellent views of of the hills.
