One is writing this from one's pool facing suite at Karni Fort Bambora at Bambora in Rajasthan. Located only 50 km away from Udaipur, this highly rated hotel will introduce one to a different world. A secluded 18th century castle, established by the descendants of Maharana Pratap. The drive through the Aravallis is extremely soothing and we arrive at Fort Bamboora by lunchtime, having left Jodhpur at 8 a.m. All in all, this drive inclusive of a 30 minute stopover at Karni Kot Sodawas, took us five and a half hours.
