Cummin Rice

Quantity Ingredient Details
10 gm. Cold pressed coconut oil or sesame oil
Pinch. Sea Salt or rock salt
100 gm. Long grained Rice Dehradun Basmati
10 gm. Cummin seeds Jeera


Recipe:

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add and stir fry the cummin seeds till they crackle. Saute for a while. Add a pinch of sea salt. Now add the basmati rice and saute the mixture till the aroma of the rice pervades the air. Pour two cups of water and pressure cook the rice for two whistles Serve piping hot. Serve with ginger-garlic mushroom.
