Recipe: Heat oil in a pan. Stir fry the chopped onions and ginger and garlic till the onion turns translucent. Add the tomatoes and cook for a while. Add the sliced bitter-gourd (karela). Saute for a while. Now add turmeric powder,chilly powder and cummin-coriander powder and sea salt and cook on a low flame till the karela is cooked. Serve with hot rice.
